PhD candidate Joklan Goni obtained the academic grade of PhD in Business Economics on 31 March 2025, defending her thesis ‘Process Innovation Capability in Less-structured Business Processes’. Prof. dr. Amy Van Looy of UGent Business Informatics was her supervisor.

Prof. dr. Broos Maenhout was Chair of the Examination Committee, which included, apart from the supervisor, Prof. dr. Seppe vanden Broucke and Prof. dr. Michaël Verdonck of Ghent University, Prof. dr. Niels Martin of Hasselt University, Prof. Dr. Bany Aylsolmaz of the Eindhoven University of Technology, and Prof. Dr. Peter Trkman of the University of Ljubljana.
