Joined by family and friends from The Netherlands and many colleagues from our department and research group, Abdel Aberkane defended his doctoral dissertation ‘Automated GDPR Compliance in Requirements Engineering’. Abdel has been part of our team as an assistant since november 2019. Prof. dr. Geert Poels and Prof. dr. Seppe vanden Broucke of UGent Business Informatics, were his proud supervisors.
