PhD defence of Claus Nottbrock, 12 March 2026
Dr. Claus Nottbrock, who was a joint PhD candidate at Ghent University and the University of Antwerp, and is a member of UGent Business Informatics and the Antwerp Management School, has successfully defended his PhD and officially received his doctoral degree on 12 March 2026.
His dissertation, “A Novel Maturity Model for Managing Digital Industry 4.0 Innovations through Interorganizational Value Chains”, addresses a pressing challenge in manufacturing: why many organisations struggle to scale digital Industry 4.0 initiatives and unlock their full value across the entire value chain.
